Sometimes having a full-time job is not enough to cover those expensive bills that keep on rolling in month to month. Everyone could benefit from some extra income. Starting a side hustle could be the perfect idea. Below I have created a list of side hustles that you can start.

Are you good with making items. These can be anything from working with wood to working with metal. Your items can be sold at swap meets and online through Gumtree and bid or buy. This is a great side hustle because you get to work on your own time, giving you more flexibility.

Start a blog

Did you know that you can make money blogging? With affiliate links and running ads you can generate a good income. Many people have decided to leave their full-time jobs to work on their blog because it was doing so well.

At the time of writing, YouTube has around two billion users who watch 250 million hours of videos every single day. With that number of views, you have a good chance of finding your audience.  

Start simple with what you good at, examples of some of the types of videos you can create are food reviews, game reviews and unboxing videos. Once you gain your followers its only up from there.

Become an influencer

Influencers are now everywhere. Instagram, Facebook and TikTok are taking over the internet space. Influencers make their money by promoting products and services on their pages. Are you the next big influencer? Why not become one.

Grocery delivery is becoming popular, especially after the covid pandemic, where people had to get food delivered to their homes.  

Food delivery is easy to start, all you need is a smart phone and download the UberEATS app and register as a delivery driver. There are also many other delivery apps such as DoorDash and Grubhub.

Have an extra room in your home? Why not list it for rent. Apps such as Airbnb allows you to rent out your extra room.

With the popularity of UBER, it makes starting a side hustle so much easier, With UBER you get to work at the times you find convenient, allowing you to have essentially two jobs.  

Plus, you get to meet new and interesting people along the way.

Provide services on Fiverr

Fiverr is a marketplace connects service providers to people looking for services, these services range from social media marketing to website coding.

Tutor high school or primary school kids

Love teaching others, why not start a tutoring business. Help kids to prepare for their exams and assignments.  

Approach your local church or library to let them know that you are offering tutoring lessons for kids. It is a great side hustle to start, and you get a chance to help kids to do well in school, that is a win-win situation.

Help people with Taskrabbit

Taskrabbit is a platform that brings people looking for help together to people that want to help.
